Jaw-Dropping Photos From Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour
Beyoncé is currently touring the globe on The Renaissance World Tour. Named after her current studio album, Renaissance, the artist's ninth concert tour kicked off on May 10, 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden. One thing that's stayed the same throughout Beyonce's tours is her commitment to the wardrobe.
The fashion on the Renaissance tour has been particularly memorable, often the topic of conversation on TikTok and even, in the case of Beyonce's bed dress, the subject of many viral memes. Travelling the globe, Beyoncé has performed in countries like the United Kingdom, Spain, France and Belgium before beginning the US leg of the tour in July that includes over 25 stops. Her jaw-dropping outfits have even inspired attendees to break out their Renaissance-inspired attire.
Kicking off the Renaissance Tour
Beyoncé kicked off the first night of her Renaissance tour in Stockholm, Sweden looking radiant in a metallic body suit as she was joined by a team of back up dancers in compliment shimmery two-piece looks.
Destiny's Child-Inspired Camo
Reminiscent of the camouflage looks Beyoncé and the women of Destiny's Child wore in the 2004 "Soldier" music video, this camo body suit made its debut during the tour's Toronto stop. Covering the leotard is a custom Adidas x Ivy Park sequin jacket from Beyoncé's own clothing line. To top it all off (literally) Beyoncé paired the look with a statement hat.
Gucci Corset
Never missing an opportunity to sparkle, Beyoncé looked stunning in this custom Gucci bodysuit with a fitted black corset dripping in sparkles and shimmering long sleeves. Beyoncé accentuated the look with custom Tiffany & Co. sunglasses.
Head to Toe Red
Serving no shortage of hat moments, Beyoncé looked fierce in an all red ensemble as she graced the stage in Amsterdam. From the over-the-knee boots to the long sleeve jacket-style body suit, this all-rouge ensemble is the fire emoji come to life.
Sparkling Red Mini Dress
No stranger to the thigh-high red boot look, Beyoncé looked breathtaking in another red ensemble, this time with a deeper, sultry shade of red. Replacing the red bodysuit with a short and sweet sparkle dress created a flirtatious, sophisticated look as she elegantly sat on top of a piano.
Above-the-Knee Boots are In
Known for her iconic diva fan, the Renaissance tour did not disappoint. While Beyoncé's voluminous hair flip may immediately catch your eye, take a second glance and you'll see that yet again she is rocking her signature above-the-knee boot.
Short Shorts and Fur Coats
Not your typical fashion pairing, Beyoncé's dancers rocked denim shorts with cropped white fur coats. Beyoncé also got in on the long-sleeve, hot pant style in a sparkling one-piece with net-like long sleeves. And to no surprise, Beyoncé's look is accessorized with a pair of over-the-knee heeled boots.
Like Mother, Like Daughter
Once you get past the "awww!" factor of Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy performing at the concert (how is she 11 already?), you'll start focusing on the fiery red jumpsuits, including the one Blue Ivy wore while performing full choreography to the viral track "My Power."
All the Patterns
Beyoncé's not the only one rocking eye-catching fashion on tour. Her back-up dancers are serving looks at every turn and these red and black bodysuits are no exception. The vibrant red polka dots against the deep black background of the bodysuit creates a stark visual contrast for a dramatic look.
The Summer of Barbie
Whether it's intentional or not, Beyoncé's all hot pink ensemble is a Barbiecore moment. Wearing a curve-hugging dress with halter neckline, Beyoncé was a real-life Barbie up on stage. Surrounding the queen was her crew of dancers who rocked hot pink cropped athleisure looks from Beyoncé's Ivy Park line.
Beyoncé gets "Cozy"
A clever ending to Beyoncé's performance of her song, "Cozy," a metallic bed set-up matching the singer's reflective outfit was brought out on stage for Queen Bey to wrap herself up, close her eyes and get literally cozy.
A Disco Ball Come to Life
Is there any better way to describe this robotic-looking body suit than "disco-ball-meets-Tin Man?" At this point, do we even need to mention the over-the-knee boots? What would a Renaissance Tour look be without them?
Keep Your Hands Off Beyoncé
Extraordinary as always, Beyoncé rocked a flesh-colored full body suit adorned with sparkles. Accentuating the body suit are long, black gloves with bright red fingernails symbolizing hands all over Beyoncé. To complete the look, Beyoncé wore long black gloves.
A Real Life Angel
Like an angel here on earth, Beyoncé wore this ethereal number while performing a rendition of Tina Turner's "River Deep, Mountain High." The ethereal metallic dress with iridescent cape sleeves give the illusion of angel wings, especially in the fan-created wind.
The Renaissance Album Cover Come to Life
If you've seen the cover of Beyoncé's latest album, you may remember Beyoncé, adorned in sequin string lingerie, sitting on a holographic horse. As the prominent Renaissance imagery, the art came to life on tour in the form of Beyoncé descending from the ceiling to sit upon a shimmering horse covered in pieces of a disco ball.
Hail the Queen Bee
Putting a literal spin on her title of "Queen Bey," the leader of the Bey Hive fandom wore a full bee ensemble. With a black and yellow body suit and stinger headpiece design from Mugler by Casey Cadwallader, the look of course was completed with an over-the-knee boot.
Rainbow Holograms
Looking much like the iridescent rainbow hues of a gas leak that sparkle in the sun, Beyoncé and her backup dancers were shining. The singer's colorful mini dress was accentuated by holographic boots that added a further pop of color to complete the vibrant look.
Blue Elegance
Designed by Roksanda Ilinčić, this elegant blue gown made an appearance during the opening night of Beyoncé's London leg of the tour. This full coverage, floor-length gown even extends over the fingertips with blue gloves and a voluminous skirt to give the dress extra dimension.
