Jenna Ortega's Flirty White Minidress With Flower Pasties Is a Major Style Pivot
From Wednesday Addams to winter whites.
Jenna Ortega may be known for her typical Wednesday-inspired dark academia aesthetic, but the young actress and budding fashion It girl just proved that she has the range. On Thursday, Ortega attended the premiere of her film Miller's Girl at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in a winter white ensemble that had a tropical twist.
Ortega arrived on the carpet in a dress that had us longing for warmer days. The plunging white micro-mini featured floral appliqué pasties that transitioned into spaghetti straps. She accessorized with a matching ribbon choker, pearl flower earrings, and a matching ring and bracelet.

Reminding us that it is, in fact, still winter (despite her dress's summery floral embellishments), Ortega slipped on an oversized ivory trench coat for a few photos. Her dark brown shoulder-length hair was styled in loose waves and a half-up ponytail, and her parted curtain bangs finished the 'do. Ortega's dewy complexion and winged liner topped off the ensemble.
When previously promoting Wednesday, the star leaned into the character's signature gothcore style, even telling InStyle that the iconic role changed her fashion sense.
“I do think that Wednesday changed my taste a lot. I have a hard time getting her off of me, at least clothing-wise,” she admitted in the interview. “It's also something that I've always wanted to do. I just never felt like I could. I feel like there were always a lot of voices and opinions that I used to place too much value in.”
Lately, however, the actress has switched things up by embracing the winter whites trend (which can also be seen on the likes of Selena Gomez, Anne Hathaway, and Meghan Markle). During the premiere of Paramount+'s Finestkind, the actress wore a sheer white lace blazer dress from ADEAM with a structured corseted midsection.
