When Jennifer Garner is cooking up something delicious as part of her “Pretend Cooking Show” Instagram series, it’s hard not to notice how beautiful her surroundings are. She’s created a stylish kitchen space with a seamless workflow featuring touches of nostalgia that make it feel like home. And one such touch of nostalgia is Garner’s antique-style kitchen scale she uses for her baking. It’s styled after scales from the 1930s and ‘40s, and it’s as much a piece of kitchen decor as it is a baking tool.

Garner showed off her Bengt Ek Design kitchen scale during her most recent episode of “Pretend Cooking Show,” and used it to weigh her dry ingredients.

I wasn’t the only one too distracted by the beauty of the vintage scale to care about the cake that Garner was making. Several others commented on her Instagram asking about the scale and where she bought it. One person commented, “Gorgeous,” and I’m taking it on good faith that they’re talking about her taste in kitchen decor.

The Bengt Ek scale, which retails for around $200, is styled after the kitchen scales of the early 20th century with its round face and decorative metal feet. According to his site, Ek founded Ek International together with his dad in 1975. The brand evolved from there and is now known as Bengt Ek Design.
