Jennifer Garner is nothing if not relatable. The actress is truly a beacon of light on my Instagram, with her wholesale content filled with her harvesting veggies at her farm and her pretend cooking show where she makes tasty dishes I’ve certainly been inspired to create too. Of course, such a relatable, down-to-earth queen also wears relatable outfits, and the latest look is exactly what I spent my entire Thanksgiving weekend in.

The actress was spotted out and about on a chilly L.A. day, wearing the comfy-focused ensemble that I bet most of us were in as we relished in family time and indulged in turkey and apple pie. Garner opted for comfy black sweats; black is always a great option as it still looks sleek and elegant without having to sacrifice the buttery-soft warmth and comfort of the lounge pants. Love! She paired the bottoms with black sweater, a puffer vest, baseball cap, sunnies, and last but not least, the ultimate winter shoe-and-sock combo: clogs and fuzzy socks.

Garner’s suede clogs appear to the classic Birkenstock Boston style, rendered in a stunning caramel hue perfect for this time of year. I’m a big fan of this shoe style, as it offers the easy-on, easy-off convenience that I so often need this time of year. And while some might say nay to the open-back slides, I say yay! And Garner proves that one simple style hack can make it a breeze. Simply wear your clogs, be it Birkenstocks or otherwise, with fuzzy socks to keep your feet and toes nice and toasty.
