Jennifer Lawrence Just Wore Two Classic Fall Patterns No One Dares to Wear Together

Jennifer Lawrence is basically a celebrity pumpkin spice latte. Every fall, her autumnal looks are worth getting excited for simply because they're so consistent, simple, and clean. The girl loves a good trench and some staples from her go-to brand, Vince. Looking at her walking through Manhattan in a teddy coat will practically make the crisp fall air jump out from behind your screen.
Obviously, fall 2020 hits different and is way more apocalyptic than years past, which, if anything, makes cozy coats and sweaters more essential than ever. Lawrence appears to have swapped out the Vince cashmere sweater she wore on repeat last season for a plaid, collarless coat by the brand instead. Unlike the sweater, which sold-out instantly after going on sale at Nordstrom for Black Friday, her coat is still in stock but on Amazon which may be even better because of the Prime shipping.
Most people pair plaid coats with a black or tan sweater but Lawrence instead made the case for pattern-clashing with a striped button-down instead. She also chose the world's most expensive button-down and opted for the Sisea silk shirt by The Row.
A plaid coat and a striped shirt will always be fall staples that are rarely worn together, but Lawrence proves that two is better than one in this case. Of course a $795 Vince coat would obviously looks great with a $1,390 The Row shirt but the outfit can be easily recreated with on-sale styles at Nordstrom and Amazon, which will still leave room in your budget for plenty of beverages that have pumpkin in them even though they probably shouldn't.
