Jennifer Lopez Bid Adieu to Fall in Another No-Pants ’Fit

After testing out nerdcore and rich-mom style in November, Jennifer Lopez hopped back onto the no-pants bandwagon to mark the end of fall 2023.
On November 30, Lopez was spotted wearing some of the year’s biggest trends to a meeting at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles—or, should we say not wearing. In one photo the 54-year-old A-lister paired a turtleneck with a black-on-black houndstooth oversized blazer, forgoing pants in favor of bare legs and knee-high stiletto boots. After checking off three major trends in one look, she accessorized with her signature oversized shades and a pair of simple diamond earrings. You can see the image here.
Though it’s extremely likely the blazer was hiding a pair of short shorts underneath, this would not be the first time Lopez spurned bottoms in the past few months. Back in September, the JLo Beauty mogul cozied up at home in just a long-sleeve ivory T-shirt, captioning the Instagram post, “Feels like fall 🍁.”
With December 1 marking the meteorological start of winter, it’s hard to imagine the no-pants trend continuing to have legs. Of course, a well-styled pair of tights could keep the celebrity-favored fashion moment going for at least a few more weeks, depending on where they are being photographed.
If necessary, Jennifer Lopez could always add a bit more bulk to the “outerwear and knee-high boots” combo by bringing back the look she wore to the Coach runway show in September. She can definitely fit some warm knitwear underneath that suede jacket.
