Jennifer Lopez Clapped Back at a Critic Claiming She "Definitely" Had Botox

The fact that Jennifer Lopez doesn't age is a mystery. And while her youthful appearance can likely be chalked up to good genes and a consistent skincare routine, many people assume that she's had cosmetic procedures in order to achieve that J.Lo glow.
Setting the record straight over the weekend, Lopez expertly shut down a critic accusing her of getting Botox. On Instagram, the singer posted a video of herself trying out one of the products from her new skincare line, JLo Beauty — and the results were awe-inducing. "Okay I just took off the mask. Honestly, I cannot even see a line on my face," J.Lo says in the clip, showing off her radiant complexion. "I feel like it took 10 years off my face."
Not believing that her skin could look that amazing from a face mask alone, a social media user commented on the post, writing: "But can I just mention that brows and forehead doesn't move at all when you talk or try to express. You definitely have Botox. And tons of it. And it's all good. Just saying."
Lopez fired back, "LOL that's just my face!!! For the 500 millionth time… I have never done Botox or any other injectables or surgery!! Just sayin' 🙂 Get you some JLO BEAUTY and feel beautiful in your own skin!!"
She also offered up an alternative piece of advice that's free. "And here is another JLo Beauty secret: try spending your time being more positive, kind, and uplifting of others don't spend your time trying to bring others down. That will keep you youthful and beautiful too!!! Sending you love," Lopez added, finishing with the hashtags #beautyfromtheinsideout and #beautyhasnoexpirationdate.

Last month, Lopez recalled when she was in her early 20s and a man she was dating encouraged her to get Botox while at a doctor's appointment, but she didn't go through with the procedure.
"I haven't ever had Botox to this day," J.Lo told Elle. "And [the doctor] said, 'Did you know you have a little line right here? We should start Botox.' I mean, I had to be 23 years old, right? And I was like, 'I'm going to pass.' I didn't like needles anyway, but the boyfriend's like, 'Yeah, you should start it. I do that.' I was like, 'no, thank you.'"
