Jennifer Lopez confidently shines like a disco ball at TIFF premiere of 'Unstoppable' amid Ben Affleck divorce

Jennifer Lopez is stunning, confident and — most importantly — unfazed. The 55-year-old actress shined on the red carpet at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Friday, pulling up to the event at Roy Thompson Hall covered in sequins.

The "Atlas" star, who filed for divorce from estranged husband Ben Affleck two and a half weeks ago, attended the "Unstoppable" premiere wearing a silver column dress featuring black bowties on the shoulders and sides. The Tamara Ralph piece was accessorized with a metallic silver clutch, platform sandals and sleek straight hair.

Lopez stars in "Unstoppable" as the mother of real-life wrestler Anthony Robles, who's played by 26-year-old actor Jharrel Jerome. Affleck and close friend Matt Damon produced the movie together, but ultimately skipped the premiere as the 52-year-old actor continues working in Los Angeles.

The premiere comes after Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on Aug. 20, after two years of marriage. The couple rekindled their early-2000s romance in 2021 and married the following year in Las Vegas, followed by a larger wedding celebration a month later in Georgia.

Lopez also took to Instagram to show off her stunning look with her fans, posting two behind-the-scenes photos and a video of herself posing for photographers outside on the red carpet. Adding a simple caption, "Toronto" with a round pushpin emoji, fans expressed their amazement over the "Let's Get Loud" singer's beautiful outfit for the evening.

"Letting them have it, mama," one person wrote.

"Let me introduce you, to my party people in the club," another added, referencing her hit 2011 song "On The Floor."

"Mother is mothering," one person quipped.

"Queen! This is everything. Amazing," a fan chimed in, along with a crown emoji.
