Although shorts are one of the key garments of the latest catwalks, many women have mixed feelings about them and prefer the freshness of romantic dresses rather than sheathing themselves in a tight microshort. Jennifer Lopez has found the middle ground.

On June 8, J.Lo stepped out in a pair of baggy chino pants that are comfortable, basic, cool, and perfect for those that don’t want to—or can’t—wear shorts. Lopez’s midrise beige pants with a fluid silhouette are the new must-have for fashion experts who favor changing the usual shorts for a more sophisticated option with minimalist character.

Jennifer Lopez combined these pants with fitted white tank top to counterbalance the loose pant. She finished everything off with a pair of white sneakers (indispensable in any closet), retro style glasses with brown lenses, and gold jewelry.
