Jennifer Lopez makes a surprise appearance at the 2025 Grammys in a sheer sequinned skirt
If we can count on anyone to make a show-stopping fashion statement at the Grammys, it’s Jennifer Lopez.
Last night, the multi-hyphenate arrived at the 67th annual Grammy Awards ceremony looking effortlessly glamorous. While she skipped the red carpet at LA's Crypto.com Arena, the singer snuck into the ceremony in a quietly dramatic look. She wore a black turtleneck bodysuit with long sleeves that doubled as gloves, styled with a sheer skirt covered entirely in sequins – both by Stephane Rolland couture. The skirt had a dramatic, sculptural embellishment at the hips that encircled the star.
She gave the audience a good look at her striking ensemble when she took to the stage at one point during the evening. She presented the award for Best Latin Pop Album, which went to Shakira.
By now, Lopez is used to casually delivering one fabulous red-carpet-worthy look after another. The night before, she attended the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala, where she stole the spotlight yet again in a sultry blood-red gown with a metallic sheen. The LaPointe piece was a party in the front and back, featuring a cowl halter neckline that plunged so low it nearly grazed her belly button, and a backless design that dipped into a point just below her hips. She upped the ante with major diamond jewellery and a mauve box clutch.
Prior to that, she embarked on a tour de fashion at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. For the premiere of her new film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Lopez brought back method dressing with a sheer black lace gown covered in glittery crystal embroidery arranged to resemble spider webs. She styled the look with a black velvet clutch and black platform pleaser heels.
