Jennifer Lopez Pulled Off a Polarizing Color Combo While Promoting Her Upcoming 'SNL' Appearance
Let J.Lo show you how it's done.
When Pantone announced its 2021 Color of the Year, or rather colors (Illuminating and Ultimate Grey), people didn't know what to think. After all, yellow and grey aren't two colors that you typically associate with one another — one is cheerful and happy, while the other is symbolic of feelings of gloom. But if anyone can pull off such a polarizing combination, it's Jennifer Lopez.
On Friday, J.Lo promoted her upcoming Saturday Night Live appearance alongside Ayo Edebiri while wearing an outfit that was half yellow, half grey. On top, her look of an oversized grey wool blazer and a sheer blue-grey turtleneck matched the outside winter weather, while the bottom portion, a sunshine yellow skirt with pockets, was a mood-boosting distraction. She separated the opposite shades with a gold reflective belt in the middle and accessorized with a pair of bright blue pointy-toe heels and diamond jewelry.
J.Lo wore her caramel-highlighted hair down in voluminous waves with a middle part, and completed her glam with her signature glowing skin and an ultra-glossy lip.

On tonight's episode of SNL, Lopez will serve as the musical guest and will likely perform her new single "Can't Get Enough" live for the first time. The track is part of J.Lo's forthcoming ninth studio album This Is Me…Now, which is the sequel to her 2002 record This Is Me...Then and will be released on Feb. 16.
