Jennifer Lopez's Ski-Chic Outfit Broke the Oldest Fashion Rule in the Book
J.Lo does what J.Lo wants.
When it comes to style, Jennifer Lopez has always marched to the beat of her own drum. From her rotation of giant barrel-legged jeans to her favorite Ugg boots, the singer-slash-actress has never been one to follow trends–or the rules, for that matter. So, it should come as little surprise that her ski-chic outfit broke the oldest commandment in the fashion book: no white after Labor Day.
Hitting the slopes with her friends in Aspen, J.Lo wore an oversized white puffer coat that was as bright as the surrounding snow on the ground. She paired her jacket with a white sweater underneath, a pair of black ski pants, and a black-and-white beanie in a festive holiday print. Adding to the controversy, the multi-hyphenate finished off her outfit with a pair of chestnut brown Ugg boots with chunky platform soles.
As for glam, Lopez straightened her caramel-highlighted hair and hid it underneath her knit hat, while her signature smoky eye makeup and bronzy glow were on full display.
Lopez's ski style isn't that much different off the mountain. Just a few days earlier, she was spotted wandering the streets of the Colorado ski town while sporting a white cable-knit turtleneck layered underneath a Fair Isle sweater with a shawl collar and oversized pockets. She completed the look with baggy jeans with diagonal stitching, a messy updo, and brown-tinted aviator sunglasses.
