Jenny Packham Fall 2024 Ready-to-Wear: Starry, Starry Night
Jenny Packham is still grooving to glam rock, and has added a cosmic dimension to her latest collection.
For pre-fall, she looked to London and New York in the glam rock years, and was thinking about Jerry Hall, David Bowie and Roxy Music lead singer Bryan Ferry wearing his Antony Price suits with Elvis Presley swagger.

For that collection she worked her signature power shoulders, slinky shapes and love of shimmer into dresses that had a bohemian edge. There were paisley patterns, jewel-embellished dresses and draped bell sleeves for dramatic flourish.
Her glamorous fall collection had just as much sparkle, but less of a 1970s boho angle.
Sparkly star shapes tumbled over the short sleeves of a black gown, while fringes in the shape of shooting stars dangled from a sheer, smoky gray floor-length dress.
A million silvery studs adorned a white dress with a round collar, while a pink style with puff shoulders was adorned with pearly constellations across the bodice and sleeves.
This collection also drew from sunset shades such as fiery red for beaded or sequin gowns with strong shoulders. Packham said she loves a built-up shoulder because they create a narrow waist, and add swagger to her sparkling silhouettes.
