Jessica Mulroney is opening up about finding "hope" in "sobriety and therapy."
On Monday, the 41-year-old took to Instagram to reflect on how she able to find happiness in spite of struggling with her mental health. Mulroney shared a message with her followers that she was able to find peace during this "heavy" year through sobriety and therapy.
"I’ve spoken about mental illness for years," the Canadian stylist wrote to her more than 400,000 followers, in a now deleted caption."I’ve worked very hard my whole life but never thought I’d have to go through intense treatment the way I did this year."

In the deleted caption, Mulroney said that she doesn't "blame anyone" or company that cut ties with her "without an investigation" or "what the press made me go through." Mulroney may be referring to the public fallout in 2020 after blogger, Sasha Exeter, accused the "I Do, Redo" host of allegedly displaying "problematic behaviour" and "textbook white privilege."
The mother-of-three continued her post by thanking followers for their support.
"All the pain is now in the past. Sending all of my followers who have loved and supported me through this journey," she continued in the now-deleted caption. "It can be lonely having the world, friends distance from you and not even ask how you are. But, thankfully, you find the things that truly matter..."
Mulroney's post was met with supportive comments, praising her for making positive changes to her life since then.
"I’m happy to see that you are happy," one Instagram user commented. "Not only have you emerged happier, you’ve found out who your real friends are, which is a blessing as you continue moving forward."
"So proud of you. I fundamentally believe that no human deserves to be 'cancelled' or treated the way you were by the media and communities here on Instagram," another wrote. "When we aim to disenfranchise others and strip them of their humanity, we lose our own humanity. Thank you for being a bright light here despite what you’ve faced."

"You have been through a lot and made mistakes. You are human," someone else commented. "Learning, growing and repenting. Focusing on bettering you is all you can do. It's a struggle and uphill battle but keep climbing. The top is within reach.
"I never thought you deserved what they threw at you," added another. "Happy for your success. Wishing you full healing and peace of mind."
Although Mulroney's show with CTV was cancelled amid the scandal with Exeter, she has remained working as a celebrity stylist for clients such as Mindy Kaling, as well as privately working in the wedding industry. In June, Mulroney announced she had designed a collection of suits that has yet to be released and continues her work with her family charity, The Shoebox Project, which helps provide necessities to women impacted by homelessness.
