Jessica Simpson Just Ditched Her Hair Extensions And Makeup In A New Instagram Selfie

Jessica Simpson, 40, has been gravitating toward a more minimalist look lately. And, it seems, that applies to her hair, too. In a new no-makeup Instagram post, the actress and singer shared that she removed her hair extensions. "This is blurry, but good Lord I love to be extension free," Jessica wrote.

Yeah, the pic is definitely fuzzy, but it’s hard to miss the fact that Jessica’s hair looks amazing and her skin is beyond gorgeous. Plenty of her famous friends noticed, too.

"So FRESH 🔥," her sister Ashlee Simpson Ross wrote in the comments. "And glowy!!!" said Odette Anable.

It’s not entirely clear when Jessica removed her extensions—her hair looked shorter in Instagram posts as far back at last June—but the no-makeup thing seems to be Jessica’s new normal. Evidence:

Jessica has been taking care of her skin like a pro for more than two decades, so she's earned that skin. She told POPSUGAR back in 2011 that she's been an eye cream fanatic for eons. "I’ve used eye cream since I got in the business, so I was about seventeen years old. I just like the way it makes me feel. And I don’t want crows feet," she said at the time.

Jessica also wrote on her blog last year that Epicuren Discovery Bio Peptide Serum is "gold" for her skin. "This serum plumps up the skin to make it look more youthful and corrects and prevents visible signs of aging," she wrote. Jessica pointed out that she doesn’t have wrinkles yet "so…it must be working!"

While Jessica looks stunning all made up, this all-natural look might be her best one yet.
