Jessie James Decker Breaks Down Answering Fans' Questions about Her Pregnancy
Jessie James Decker's family is growing, and the country music singer is opening up about her pregnancy. Jessie and her husband, former NFL player Eric, have three children: Vivian (9), Bubby (7), and Forrest (5). She surprised fans with a sweet pregnancy reveal on August 22.
The "Should've Known Better" singer took to Instagram to answer some questions from fans about her new addition. She said the most asked question was if the pregnancy was planned or a surprise. This might seem a bit invasive, but Jessie has been open about her husband Eric's reluctance to get a vasectomy (she even joked about it in a commercial for Ryan Reynolds's Aviation Gin).
In her Instagram story, Jessie was asked, "If this is too personal, I understand: planned or a surprise blessing? Congrats!!" She gave a lengthy reply that caused her to become emotional.
Jessie said, "It was not planned, we were very very very surprised. As you know I’ve been telling Eric it was probably time to get a vasectomy because I felt like we were done, and I just feel like God always has other plans. So it was extremely shocking and surprising, but like happy, excited. I love being a mom...I’m getting teary-eyed thinking about it. I love being a mom, and if it was God’s plan for me to have another one, I am so grateful. Being able to have another little baby is the most incredible blessing. We’re all just over the moon. It’s all any of us can think about. Everyone is just so excited."
Jessie revealed that she's about four months along and told fans that she's been tired and a little nauseous but is feeling better now that she's in her second trimester. She even admitted that Eric thought she was joking at first and she had to take another pregnancy test to convince him.
Congratulations to the Decker family! We're excited to see what this new chapter brings.
