Jessie Reyez is letting fans in on why she didn't attend any Junos 2023 after parties.

The 31-year-old Canadian singer took to Instagram with a video detailing how she wound up at the hospital after last Monday's awards show. In the Instagram Reel, Reyez documented herself getting ready ahead of the Junos, rehearsing for her performance, working out, walking the red carpet — and winning a Juno award.

Reyez took home the award for "Contemporary R&B/Soul Recording of the Year" for her song "Yessie."

"Clearly, we intended to celebrate," Reyez said in the clip.

After the ceremony, however, the "Figures" singer's plans to celebrate her win got derailed when her ring got stuck on her finger.

"My sh— got so stuck," she explained. "They had to use some wild tool. Anyway, I spent my Juno night at the hospital."

"I wasn’t at any after parties 'cause I went to the hospital," she captioned the post.

In the comments, fans praised Reyez's lighthearted take on the unexpected dilemma.

"You're such a good sport! I would've been so upset about not getting to celebrate," one Instagram user wrote. "I'm o glad everything got resolved though!"

"Girl, you're wild! Glad they got you taken care of!" added another. "That’s my worst nightmare when I wear rings too small."

One person joked: "You’re like a main character in your own movie starring Jessie."

"Oh my god," someone else chimed in with a crying emoji. "You killed it though!"

Ahead of the Juno Awards, Reyez shared a carousel of selfies and a video showing off a sheer, lilac outfit. She paired the stunning lace ensemble with silver sandal high heels and accessorized with three gold necklaces.

"Styled by @steph__major. Makeup by @youtube tutorial. Hair by God. Body by @gym, @stress and @Colombian genetics," she quipped in the caption for her more than 3.5 million followers.

Fans met Reyez's post with compliments on her daring look.

"She's a fashion icon baby!" an Instagram user wrote alongside a flame emoji.

Another added: "I love this outfit so much. You look stunning!"

"This look is spicy. I'm obsessed," someone wrote. "You look so beautiful!"
