Since its launch in January 2021, JLo Beauty has racked up a legion of fans who have been impressed by the brand's skincare and results.
The celebrity beauty brand started out with products for the face, but last month launched its first body product to great success — the $84 CAD/$65 USD Firm + Flaunt Targeted Booty Balm sold out almost instantly.
However, if you missed your shot to pick one up the first time, the cream is finally back in stock at Sephora.
JLo Beauty Firm + Flaunt Targeted Booty Balm
This firming body cream is designed to visibly hydrate and fade the appearance of stretch marks for a smoother, more refined-looking booty (or anywhere else you choose to use it). According to the brand, daily use can help reveal skin that appears smoother, firmer and more hydrated.
It features ingredients such as Guarana Seed Extract to reduce puffiness, Pink Pepperslim to fade the look of stretch marks, and Heptapeptide-7, which boosts natural collagen production and reduces visible signs of aging.
"We give all this care and attention to the skin on our face, but we sometimes neglect the body," said founder Jennifer Lopez, 53, in an Instagram post.
"It was important to me to create a skincare routine for the body to address its specific and unique needs, and we started with the booty!"
What shoppers are saying
As a sellout product, it's clear that shoppers have been eager to test out the JLo Beauty Firm + Flaunt balm. It seems to live up to the hype too, having received a 4.5-star rating from customer reviews, with 93 per cent of Sephora shoppers recommending the cream.
"[I] am enjoying using it on my thighs, hips, booty and belly. It is very hydrating and light bounces off the areas when used," reads one review.
"This is a great firming cream! It goes on smooth, it has a great texture as you apply it and it has a very pleasant scent," added another.
Even skeptics of the balm have enjoyed the results, with shoppers finding that the cream actually makes a difference in their skin's appearance.
"At first, I was a bit skeptical about trying this product as I have tried several firming creams and saw very few results," one person shared. "After about two weeks, I noticed my stretch marks were less visible, my inner/outer thighs looked firmer and tighter, and my skin tone evened out."
"I had my doubts that it would truly work. But after having used it for numerous weeks, I have to say that I'm surprised and quite pleased that it did, in fact, make a big difference in my skin," added another.
Some shoppers weren't a fan of the "thick consistency" of this body balm, which they say can take some time to rub into the skin. However, if you're a fan of thicker, body butter-like lotions, then there's a good chance you'll be a fan of this JLo Beauty balm.
