JLo's draped gown and coordinating cape is giving Greek goddess
Earlier this week Jennifer Lopez proved she can do it all while at an Intimissimi event, showcasing two *very* different looks. We're explicitly referring to her style here, but given her credentials as a singer, dancer, actress, producer, businesswoman, mother and wife, we'd say it's a pretty accurate statement all round, too. She can – and does – do it all.
In case you missed our initial in-depth outfit analysis (though you can totes go back and read it here) JLo stepped out at the event wearing a David Koma Barbiecore pink sequin mini dress. When it was time for her to leave the store, however, she changed into the Modal Cashmere Ultralight High-Neck Top from the lingerie brand, paired with wide-leg low-rise Gucci jeans and platform boots. From fun and flirty, to a trend-led Y2K vibe.
Well, Jen has only gone and showcased *another* aesthetic with her latest look in what we're calling red carpet goddess.
Attending the Hispanic Federation Gala at the Museum of Natural History in New York City on Thursday [18 April] evening, Jennifer opted for a stunning Monique Lhuillier strapless gown featuring a ruched bodice and elegantly draped skirt that fell to the floor. The addition of a daring hip-high leg slit would have been enough added drama, but Jen upped the ante with a coordinating full-length cape to the look, fastened at the neck with a small silver clasp.
The nude hue plus the silhouette of the dress gave major Greek goddess vibes. But it was old Hollywood Jen turned to for hair inspo, styling her brunette tresses in a deep side part and voluminous, cascading waves. Her beauty look was completed with a brown smokey eye and nude lip. As for her accessories, Jennifer wore a diamond choker-style necklace, statement drop earrings and an XL cocktail ring.
Truly stunning! Is there anything she can't do?
