The Christmas season is officially upon us, and it's time to dig out your favorite decorations and trim the tree (if you haven't already!). If you're in need of a little inspiration, look no further than home decor icon Joanna Gaines. The Fixer Upper star put up her tree (with the assistance of a few helpful elves), and the result is as beautiful as you'd expect.

Joanna shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her making Christmas magic at her home in Waco, Texas, from the wrapped tree being carried in to her young son Crew adding the finishing touches. While the tree certainly takes center stage, we couldn't help but notice her stunning mantel, complete with an evergreen swag, dried citrus garland, and beautiful stockings.

Joanna captioned the post, simply, "O Christmas Tree! šŸŒ²" and credited Grigsby Farms of Salado, Texas, for her beautiful fir. Fans ran to the comments section to show their appreciation for the decor with messages like, "How spectacular!! Nothing like creating those memories that will last a lifetime," "Now THATS a tree šŸ˜," and "Absolutely breathtaking tree! Merry Christmas šŸŽ„šŸŽ"

Still more bombarded Jo with questions, namely about the twinkling lights on her incredible tree: "Beautiful!! What kind of lights do you use? I love them" and "How many lights and how do you wrap them to make it look like its on fire?" Joanna has yet to reply to her fans, but some speculated in the comments that she uses tiny rice lights. Others suggest that she wraps each branch with lights, rather than loosely draping them. Either way, the result is truly magical!

In a 2021 Magnolia blog post, Joanna admitted that her family tree can cause her some stress. She wrote, "Honestly, this tree tends to stress me out. Itā€™s never perfectly straight, and thereā€™s always a fifty percent chance it could come crashing down at any moment. We have to water it daily, and most of our ornaments are too heavy so the branches droopā€¦and stringing lights around a 12 foot tree isnā€™t always easy."

While she says she'd be happy to get an artificial tree, her husband Chip loves the real one and she credits him for keeping their tradition alive. She says, "Every year, it's an emotional experience for me when this one goes up. Itā€™s a reminder of how many Christmases we have left under one roof, all together, and how fast the kids are growing up."

Thanks to Joanna and her beautiful tree, we're officially in the Christmas spirit!
