Joanna and Chip Gaines share five children: Drake, 19, Ella, 18, Duke, 16, Emmie, 14, and Crew, 6
Joanna Gaines is showing off her oldest son's impressive Elf on the Shelf skills.
On Tuesday, Dec. 24, the Magnolia Network co-founder, 46, shared an Instagram Reels of her and her husband Chip Gaines' son Drake, 19, as he constructs the family Elf on the Shelf's latest mischievous surprise for his younger brother Crew, 6.
In the video, Drake, who is home from college for the holidays, can be seen using a few stuffed animals, string and a wrapped present to make their elf, named "Elfie," look as though he's skiing off their kitchen island.
"Drake engineering one of Elfie's final stunts of the season 🎄," the proud mom captioned her post.

She recently chatted about Drake during an appearance on Today on Oct. 22 alongside her husband Chip, revealing the teen added some personal touches to his college apartment after she decorated it for him.
"I spend all this time and plan. I do it, and then the day I leave, he’ll send pictures to his siblings and then they’ll show me,” she explained to hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb. A photo of Drake's apartment popped up on the screen behind her as she spoke, showing a space that doesn't exactly evoke Joanna's signature farmhouse modern style.
In the shot, a strip of blue LED lights can be seen glowing around the entire perimeter of the ceiling.
“This is all about lighting. He wanted more lighting,” Joanna said. “He bought some lights on Amazon and strung them throughout his whole apartment. Now it looks like a club.”
