Joey King Plays With 3D Effects in Textual Prada Cloquet Look for ‘We Were the Lucky Ones’ Premiere
Joey King attended the premiere of her new Hulu series “We Were the Lucky Ones” Thursday in Los Angeles. The Emmy-nominated actress fashioned a look by Prada.
King’s ensemble featured a teal top and a skirt in cream-colored cloquet. The textured fabric created a 3D effect as it waved across the top and skirt. King completed the look with a pair of satin cream platforms by Prada, as well.

King accessorized with a pink crystal-embellished clutch by the Italian fashion house. When it came to her jewelry, the actress wore Pomellato rings and earrings. King’s hair, styled by Rena Calhoun, was pulled back in a low ponytail, and makeup was by Allan Avendaño.
Recently, King wore a strapless Balenciaga gown with a high slit for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, accessorizing with Calzedonia black tights and Pomellato jewelry. At the Prada pre-Oscars party, King chose a Prada skirt and bra top, coordinating with Pomellato pieces too.
King was named Pomellato’s ambassador in March 2023. At the time of the announcement, chief executive officer Sabina Belli said King “truly represents the courage and tenacity of the Pomellato woman.”
“She joins the incredible Pomellato for Women cast, a community of different generations, walks of life and accomplishments, to represent her own unique facet of womanhood,” Belli continued. “With Joey’s unbridled ambition and captivating talent, her voice will speak for a new generation of hope and the Pomellato values that we hold dear.”
King’s latest project, “We Were the Lucky Ones,” is the miniseries adaptation of the 2017 book of the same name by Georgia Hunter. The series follows a Jewish family separated during World War II and their determination and fight to reunite amid the horrific events that ensue. “We Were the Lucky Ones” lands on Hulu March 28.
