Jordan Brand Is Reportedly Collaborating With a Premier League Club on New Kits for Next Season
Jordan Brand is reportedly looking to expand its status in the football industry with a brand-new collaboration with a London-based Premier League side that will possibly wear the Jumpman logo as early as next season.
French footballing powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain is the only club to ball out in Jordan Brand kits thus far, with the Ligue 1 side’s partnership with the brand soon running into its sixth year. PSG and Jordan Brand’s partnership has grabbed a slew of headlines over the years, creating some of the cleanest jerseys — that encapsulate the worlds of football, basketball, and streetwear — to hit the pitch in recent times.
And while an official announcement of what club will be wearing Jordan kits is yet to be announced, only two Premier League clubs play in Nike (NYSE:NKE -1.12%) kits: Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. The two London clubs are reportedly in advanced talks with Jordan Brand and one of the sides is expected to unveil a slew of Jordan-designed jerseys and lifestyle wear.
The Premier League is the most-watched football league in the world, so Jordan Brand's expansion into the Premier League makes sense for the basketball-focused label. No official kits have been leaked just yet, but be sure to stay tuned in for any new updates.
