From her wild Pretty Woman waves to her recent signature feathered fringe, Julia Roberts is no stranger to an iconic hair moment. Whether it's a set of copper curls or a warm chocolate tint, we'd struggle to find a shape or hue that Roberts couldn't pull off effortlessly – and her latest sunflower blonde wispy bob provides ample proof of that.

The actor sported her fresh cut in the Royal Box of the Wimbledon Gentlemen's Singles Final this weekend, debuting the statement chop mere days after hairstylist Serge Normant shared her warm buttery colour via Instagram. Warm in tone and paired with a subtle shading at the root, the new shade is a grand departure from Roberts' previous go-to hairstylings, but it's one we'll be keeping on the moodboard for the sunlit months ahead.

In the caption of his post, the stylist explained that when making drastic colour changes, (in Julia's case, red to blonde) his approach never changes. He works slowly and methodically in order to keep the health and integrity of the hair. As with many blonde transformations, we imagine that the major, now shoulder-grazing chop, was also a part of the hair lightening process.

Roberts paired her new cut with a playful Gucci tennis dress and chunky tinted sunglasses.

Enviable hair inspiration has been centre court throughout this year's Wimbledon tournament. Zendaya debuted a similarly sun-kissed colour to Roberts' for one of this week's games: a 'beach blonde' bob complete with summery highlights and styled in a bouncy side-parted blowdry. Meanwhile, Margot Robbie's ever coveted lengths were styled in a sleek grown-out lob, while Lucy Boyton looked unrecognisable after a dramatically bright strawberry pink hair transformation.
