Justin Bieber is facing criticism after a short clip surfaced of the star allegedly yelling at his wife, Hailey Bieber.

The "Peaches" singer performed in Las Vegas over the weekend for the launch of Delilah, a new lounge at Wynn Las Vegas hotel and casino. Following his performance, a video of the couple surfaced on TikTok that featured Bieber and Hailey walking through a casino lobby in the middle of what fans allege was a heated argument.

While the original video was taken down, others have shared it across social media, garnering mixed reactions from fans. While many argued that Bieber looks "excited" and "fired up from his performance" rather than aggressive, others have accused the 27-year-old of mistreating his wife and having "temperament issues."

"He's not happy; his face says he's yelling," someone tweeted, while another added, "Why is he screaming at his wife?"

"Does he low key have temperament issues? I don't like the way he's talking to her" one person wrote.

I understand that he might’ve been excited here, but he’s had a history of actually yelling/being obnoxious to her, so I wouldn’t put it past him," one Twitter user commented.

"Very, very young people being filthy rich usually equates to some sort of insanity," someone else sounded off.

Others chimed in to argue that Bieber looked visibly excited and not angry.

"I don’t get how people thought he was yelling at her, he looks so excited to me," someone tweeted. "He’s just singing or saying some goofy stuff. He was hyped."

"This is clearly being taken out of context, but OK," another wrote.

"Literally people who were standing beside him said that he was just excited and talking about the show (it was his first performance in front of live audiences in years, so he was really happy) and people wanted to twist it," added another.

One fan who was allegedly present at the time the video was taken clarified that Bieber was speaking lightheartedly.

"I was right there walking behind him and he was not yelling at her. He had just gotten off stage at the club and was hype and had all this adrenaline," they wrote. "They were both smiling and laughing but of course, that’s not the part of the video that gets posted. Stop twisting things."

Despite the controversy surrounding the clip, a source released a statement to E! News denying that Bieber and Hailey were arguing.

“The group arrived together to Delilah after pre-gaming on a party bus that took them on the strip and then to the venue,” the source said. “They arrived around 11:30 p.m. and were escorted to their own private table. The club was packed and many people were trying to approach their table.”

The insider revealed that Bieber and his group were enjoying their night, seemingly squashing any rumours that there was tension with the group.

“He looked really happy to be singing and was dancing and vibing with the crowd,” the insider continued. “He was smiling and in a great mood. Several bottles of 818 tequila were brought out by club employees and everyone was chanting ‘818’ and holding the bottles in the air. They were serving specialty cocktails with 818, including one that Kendall created, and had bottles on tables throughout the club.”

The source added that Bieber was pouring shots for the crowd, alongside Jenner, and they “definitely looked like they were having a fun girls’ night out together and were all drinking and dancing together with the other girls at the table, while Bieber was on stage performing. They all left around 2 a.m.”
