Kaia Gerber Does Elastic-Waist Pants Like the Cool City Girl She Is

If red was the It color for fall, then bright blue, as seen here on Kaia Gerber, is about to be the hottest hue of the summer. The Palm Royale actor was spotted on the streets of Soho in Manhattan over Memorial Day weekend, wearing a cropped jersey tee that was not just blue, not turquoise, and not lapis, but actually cerulean.

Gerber’s casual collared top was detailed with black buttons down the front and cuffed sleeves, which she paired with low-rise, elastic-waist black slacks, and ballet flats. Clearly a busy city girl, Gerber also carried two oversized bags—one Louis Vuitton and one basic black—and balanced an iced coffee on her phone. Been there, girl.

Shades of indigo, robin’s egg, and sapphire have been seen on designer bags, sundresses, and specifically Adidas sneakers, which have been called the number one trending shoe of the season. Joining Kaia Gerber on the blue train, Megan Fox found a clever way to incorporate the trend by dying her hair a light shade of denim, and Katie Holmes has led the way with baby blue ballet flats.
