Kaitlyn Bristowe's fans defend her after body shamers say she looks 'too thin'
Many took to the comment section to voice their concerns about the reality star's weight and wellness.
Kaitlyn Bristowe's fans are not here for body shaming.
On Sunday, the former "Bachelorette" star, 38, took to Instagram with a stunning set of caption-free, candid photos of herself enjoying a night out in Milan, Italy.
While the "Off The Vine" podcast host looked effortlessly radiant in a black cross-wrap halter top and oversized black trousers, many took to the comment section to voice their concerns about Bristowe's weight and wellness.
"Almost unrecognizable," one Instagram user wrote, while another added, "Looks like she's getting thinner."
"I sure hope she is not taking drugs. First picture seems to look that way," one person wrote.
"Praying for you! You don’t look well," commented another.
"Maybe she is losing weight from dealing with stress," an Instagram user chimed in.
Luckily, Bristowe's "real fans" rushed to her defence.
"F—- anyone saying you look too thin. Ignore the haters," one person said. "You look stunning no matter what. Your real fans just hope you're healthy and happy — that's all that matters."
"You look incredible. We don't subscribe to hate," a fan weighed in.
One person urged other commenters not to speak on others' bodies in general — and pointed out weight is not always an indication of health.
"Stop the body commenting!" they wrote. "Just because you can see a rib doesn't mean someone is unhealthy and just because someone exists in a larger body doesn’t mean they are unhealthy. Let people live!"
"The trolls are trolling but girl, you're still glowing," commented another.
In July, however, fans praised the Canadian reality TV star for looking toned in a series of sun-soaked photos showing off her tan lines.
In the first two snaps, Bristowe wore her hair in a loose, high ponytail and posed on a white sand beach in a grey and fluorescent yellow triangle bikini paired with oversized yellow, black-rim sunglasses.
In the third photo, the Alberta-native opted for a hot pink, backless one-piece swimsuit from Canadian brand Londre to show off her back tattoo.
"(Spray)tan lines," she quipped in the caption.
"OK, Miss insane abs. Jeez!" an Instagram user commented on the post.
"Holy abs! You look great and the tattoo placement is perfection," a commenter added.
"Body is bodying," a fan penned. "This is such a slay! You look amazing. Please drop your ab routine."
