Kansas City restaurant reopens with new name, location and now, dinner and drinks

Urban, a new venture from restaurateur Justin Clark, is now open at 3420 Troost Ave.

Clark’s previous restaurant — Urban Cafe, at 5500 Troost — served breakfast and lunch. Urban, located on the ground floor of The Roxford, a new eight-story building developed by Mac Properties, serves dinner and drinks as well.

“It’ll be a little more elevated, with more composed dishes — kind of a fusion of New American cuisine,” Clark said of the concept last year.
