Kate Beckinsale flaunts toned legs in sheer gown at Oscars after party: 'Stunning'

Kate Beckinsale has legs for days.

The 48-year-old actress arrived at Sunday's Vanity Fair's Oscars after party in a sheer black Zuhair Murad gown that featured a sequin encrusted bodysuit and floral detail that showed off her toned physique. She paired the dress with a natural makeup look a chic, high ponytail and jewelry by Anita Ko.

The "Underworld" star later took to Instagram to share photos of the look with her more than 5 million followers, thanking Vanity Fair and Zuhair Murad for the glamorous night out.

Beckinsale's post was quickly met with praise from fans who thought she looked "stunning" on Vanity Fair's star-studded blue carpet.

"It takes work to look this great. And by work, I mean all those hours you spend in the gym," one Instagram user commented.

"Gorgeous," wrote celebrity pal Paris Hilton.

"Forever the most beautiful woman in any room," a fan told the star.

"Crushing it Kate!" added another.

"Timeless beauty," another person wrote.

"Only you could wear that amazing dress! Stunning," someone else penned.

Beckinsale's gorgeous Oscars look presumably caught the eye of "Aquaman" star, Jason Momoa. A photo of the pair looking rather cozy and "flirty" at the after-party surfaced online.

The photo, which featured Momoa helping the star with her coat, sparked rumours of a potential budding romance following Momoa's split from Lisa Bonet earlier this year.

The secret to Beckinsale's toned figure is an intense workout regime. But in an interview with Shape in 2021, she admitted that she isn't always keen on going to the gym, so she likes to get them out of the way first thing in the morning.

"I basically wake up, eat breakfast, and then work out. I prefer to get it done in the morning," the star said. "That said, I don't naturally get up early. It would be much better for me if the entire world went to bed at 4 a.m. and woke up at noon. But it doesn't, so I'm usually staggering around first thing."

Beckinsale has called working out "nature's antidepressant," and although she loves yoga, she's seen the most results with "hardcore" workouts.

"I do circuit training interspersed with brutal cardio, such as crazy things on a non-motorized treadmill. That part is torture," Beckinsale said. "But the thing I like about circuit training is that you're never doing one thing for very long. You get to the point where you almost can't bear it, and it changes to something else."
