Kate Middleton took an economy flight to Scotland to spend the last weeks of the summer at Balmoral with the Queen, and in a video shared to TikTok, the duchess was spotted leaving a flight on Sunday.

As per Hello!, she was joined by her two younger children, Princess Charlotte, seven and Prince Louis, four.

It's understood Prince William travelled separately from his wife-of-11-years, with the couple's eldest child Prince George, nine.

The TikToker who uploaded the video was understood to have shared an account of how Middleton behaved on the flight, writing: 'On a flight to Scotland, Kate Middleton, both kids, nanny and security 2 rows in front of me [sic].'

The user added: 'Could get a private jet or helicopter but keeping it simple, flying economy.

'She even got up half way through the flight to get her daughter's iPad.

'And yes she was stunning, even gave me a smile while looking back at row behind her to talk to her son.'

Explaining how seemingly down-to-earth Middleton was throughout the flight, the user continued: 'No one on board took any photos or videos. Just a mum taking her children on holiday to see grandmother, but there was a buzz on board.'

As ever, the 40-year-old mum-of-three reportedly looked effortlessly elegant on the flight, donning an easy-breezy sage green midi skirt and khaki blazer.

She wore her hair in natural waves and accessorised with a cream shoulder bag.

Princess Charlotte, meanwhile, complemented her mum in a graceful floral dress, with her hair styled in neat French plaits.

Prince Louis was also dressed smartly in navy tailored shorts and a blue shirt.

For many decades it's been a royal tradition for the royal family to spend the summer holiday in Balmoral since Queen Victoria acquired the estate, which spans 50,000 acres.

It's home to mountains, rivers, lochs, woodland and gardens.

News of Middleton's recent trip comes as she and Prince William prepare to move their family from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

The Cambridges' decision to move to their new home, which they are reportedly private renting, is understood to be due to Middleton and Prince William wanting to give their three children 'as normal a life as possible' with more freedom.

It's been confirmed by Kensington Palace that Prince George and Prince Louis will be leaving their current school Thomas's Battersea and all three children will start a new school in Berkshire come September.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's move has also been reportedly influenced by them wanting to be closer to the Queen.

Her Majesty, has now made Windsor Castle her primary residence after moving from her Buckingham Palace residence.
