The Duchess of Cambridge is certainly keeping busy these days, and her latest surprise appearance is no exception.
Stopping by for an interview with the BBC on Monday, the 38-year-old royal helped celebrate the launch of their new Tiny Happy People initiative, a project that aims to support parents as they guide their children through the earliest years of life.
While there, the Duchess met with families involved in the creation and piloting of the project, and spoke with them about the ways in which they have been using the new digital resources, and how their children’s language and communication has developed as a result.

Kate also shared a few snippets of what life at home has been like with her three children, Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, since staying at home.
She noted that Louis in particular has taken to running, saying, “You put Louis down and he's off."

Dressed for the occasion in one of her favourite designers, Kate chose a polka-dotted Emilia Wickstead dress for the event, along with new, lighter hair that’s been updated with golden highlights.
The dress featured a silhouette that the Duchess has come to favour, and included details like a collared neckline, belted waist and flowing A-line skirt.
Although the $2,625 dress is now sold out, there are still some stylish alternatives that you can still shop if you’re looking for a Duchess-approved style.
