  • Kate Middleton and Prince William visited Cumbria earlier this week, where they met with farmers and individuals involved in the local rural community.

  • According to People, during a walkabout in Keswick, Duchess Kate opened up about Princess Charlotte, who is due to start school in September 2019.

  • Kate and William were also spotted having a secret date during their official royal visit to Cumbria.

Kate Middleton's children are growing up fast.

While Prince George already attends Thomas's Battersea in London, Princess Charlotte is due to join her brother at the same school later in the year. And according to the Duchess of Cambridge, little Charlotte is definitely ready for her next challenge.

According to People, during one of Kate and William's walkabouts during their official royal visit to Cumbria, the royals opened up about their daughter. The publication spoke to Helen Jones, who brought her four-year-old daughter, Eva, along to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. And according to Jones, Kate "said Charlotte was looking forward to school," and she was also "very friendly."

Up until now, Charlotte has been attending Willcocks Nursery School in London. Having turned four in May 2019, Charlotte will definitely be ready to start school, especially as she will get to join her older brother, Prince George, at Thomas's Battersea.

Meanwhile, little Louis only recently turned one, so it'll be some time before he joins his siblings in education. He already knows how to steal the show when he's in front of a camera, though:
