Heidi spoke to The Mirror about the theory, saying "There has obviously been some speculation about whether it was Kate and William in that footage and stills. In fact, my own social media has gone crazy as people think it is me, but I know it is not. I was at work at the time so I know that is not me. I 100 per cent believe that is Kate Middleton and William in that video."
She added, "My social media has gone crazy since the video emerged. It wasn't me. Joking about Kate is one thing but we need to give her time now and I'm sure she'll be back after Easter, like what was said in the first place."
That said, Heidi confirmed that she has done Kate lookalike work amid the Princess of Wales' surgery: "Since Kate has surgery, I have done gigs where I have walked in and people have said 'there's Kate" so it started as a joke around 'we've found Kate' but now it should stop really," she said.

Just FYI while we're here, the eyewitness who seemingly filmed Kate at the farm shop told TMZ, “I noticed a couple choosing loaves of bread and the woman turned her face and I felt like I had seen the face before. It was familiar. I knew it from somewhere. I went to my car and as they came out of the shop I just filmed them. I think they walked out through a gate out of the grounds. They just vanished and I didn’t see a car. I just wanted to share with my family footage and show just how normal they were.”
