Kate Middleton channels Princess Diana in $2,675 dress — but here's how to shop the trend for less
Kate Middleton stepped out on Tuesday in a gorgeous - but pricey - navy polka dot dress complete with the sweet Peter Pan collar.
The Duchess opted for an Alessandra Rich outfit for a solo outing at Bletchley Park, a historic site where Alan Turing and computer scientists worked, to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
This is the second time we’ve seen her in the pretty frock - Kate previously wore the look for Prince Charles’s birthday portraits last year.
Eagle-eyed viewers of the royal family’s sartorial choices were quick to note that the polka dot look channeled a similar iconic dress that Diana favoured, complete with a matching white collar. Diana’s look had shoulder pads (it was the ‘80s!) but overall, the dresses are remarkably similar.
