How Kate Middleton And Prince William Are Spending Their Summer Holiday
The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, along with other members of the royal family, will be starting the summer as they mean to go on: with a good old-fashion summer holiday to the Scottish highlands.
As Kate Middleton and King Charles continue to undergo treatment for cancer, the royal family is reportedly trying to keep their summer plans as normal as possible. Amid recent reports that their annual Balmoral vacation was still on the table despite Middleton's health issues, a new source now claims that Kate has officially decided to join Prince William, her kids, and other key royals at the family’s go-to getaway in the Scottish Highlands this year–and they’ve officially nailed down the dates.

'It will be a rather low key affair this year where everyone will meet to just relax and unwind,' a source told Express of the family’s holiday plans.
The family are believed to have planned their holiday to Balmoral for a little over a week after it closes to the public on August 4. Among the members of the family who will join the vacation are Prince William and the Princess of Wales (along with their three children, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince George), King Charles and Queen Camilla, who will join the family a few days later in mid-August and Princess Anne and Mike and Zara Tindall.
Two notably absent members of the family who won't be on the trip, however, are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. 'Harry and Meghan will not be joining the rest of the royal family in August,' the source said, adding that King Charles is keen for the getaway to be a 'happy family occasion.'
