Kate's return to work follows her September 9 announcement that she had completed her chemotherapy treatment. 'The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you,' Kate said in a video shared to hers and Prince William's joint Instagram account. 'With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.'

Kate added in the video that is looking forward to 'undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can' while remaining focussed on staying cancer-free.

At present, Kate is believed to be planning to attend a Remembrance Sunday service in support of the Royal family, veterans and their families on November 10, and she is also understood to still be planning to host her annual carol concert at Westminster Abbey the following month.
