Kate Middleton walked the red carpet Tuesday wearing a matching crimson gown.

The duchess attended the opening night of the Broadway musical “42nd Street” at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane wearing a $1,195 red Marchesa gown with capped sleeves, a back zipper, and an illusion neckline. She accessorized with a red clutch and red heels.

The show features a girl named Peggy Sawyer who moves to New York City to star on Broadway. Proceeds from the evening will go toward East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) in the hopes of opening a new hospice in Norfolk.

According to a story published by “E! News,” Middleton met with guests before the show, including a 12-year-old boy named Ollie Duell, who suffers from a condition that impairs his stomach and bowels. Ollie’s mother, Claire Duell, also gave a speech before the lights went down, saying, “EACH enables us to be a family, providing care and support for us as a whole. Having a safe place for Ollie to be cared for is the most valuable gift we could ever have been given. Ollie loves spending time at the hospice, and the minute he gets there he is kicking off his shoes, getting a duvet and snuggling down on the sofa, with everyone running around seeing to his every need.”

Middleton has been indulging her artsy side lately. On March 28, she attended a gala dinner at London’s National Portrait Gallery wearing an emerald-green lace Temperley gown and gold open-toed shoes, while carrying a $242 gold Wilbur and Gussie clutch. Ahead for the fashionable mom of two: A solo visit to Luxembourg where she’ll attend the commemoration of the 1867 Treaty of London.
