Kate Middleton's latest evening look is one of her most stunning. The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out tonight for Action on Addiction's gala dinner in recognition of the UK's Addiction Awareness Week. She looked polished and beautiful in fitted white knit off-the-shoulder dress by Barbara Casasola. She paired it with silver glitter heels. This isn't Kate's first time in the dress; she first wore it in 2016.
Kensington Palace announced that the Duchess of Cambridge, who is a patron of Action on Addiction, would give a speech in recognition of the charity's work. Her visit today comes after she and Prince William visited Cumbria yesterday and attended Trooping the Colour on Saturday. At Trooping the Colour, Kate made her carriage debut with Meghan Markle and wore Alexander McQueen. Prince Harry and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also joined her during the carriage procession. On the roof, she and William reunited alongside their three child, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
These two events where Kate and William's first public engagements together this month.
Kate's appearance this evening also comes shortly after Us Weekly reported that Kate is in reality pretty reserved. "Kate still finds these huge public events overwhelming," a palace insider told the outlet. "She’s always been naturally shy-truth be told, she envies her sister-in-law Meghan [Markle]’s ease in front of crowds. But she impresses everyone with her ability to paste a huge smile on her face."
That source added that the Duchess of Cambridge is devoted to her mental health. She has incredible self-discipline and wakes up every morning for a jog or swim, the insider said. "She finds exercise crucial to her mental well-being."
