She may not be the actual queen of Christmas, but Kate Middleton declared that "it's time" for some festive fashion with a post from Kensington Palace over the weekend. People reports that the Princess of Wales (official title, thank you very much) will host her third annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey on Dec. 8, with the show set to air on ITV on Christmas Eve. For the announcement, Kate wore a Hallmark-movie-ready turtleneck sweater from Holland Cooper with a thick ribbed knit, festive holiday patterns, and button detailing on the sleeve. In a video that promoted the same event last year, she wore an identical outfit while she decorated the tree.

Holiday announcements aren't the only time that Kate's picked out this particular top. According to the publication, Kate wore the cozy sweater to read a children's book on the CBeebies Bedtime Stories show in February 2022 and wore it again during an appearance where she spoke on mental wellness with U.K. radio host Roman Kemp a year later in February 2023.

This year's concert is linked to Princess Kate’s Shaping Us campaign and organized to “thank all those who work to support babies, young children and families in our communities across the U.K. and a celebration of the golden opportunity that the birth of a new baby brings,” the palace shared. Musical guests include Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight, Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings, and James Bay.

Sources close to the palace shared that Prince Louis could make an appearance at the big show, alluding to the fact that he's made more public outings alongside his siblings this year. Though there's been no confirmation from the palace, he attended a Christmas event last year at St. Mary Magdalene church and appeared at the royals' biggest event of the year: King Charles's coronation in May.
