Katy, is that you?

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, back on August 26 — and Perry is already back at work. She spoke to Entertainment Tonight about returning to the American Idol judges' table and why it was so important to her to get back on the show.

Perry told ET that she loves being a mom, but she also loves being able to inspire aspiring singers on the show. Right now, she explains, she feels like her life is "full and whole" and part of that is helping people achieve their dreams.

"It's amazing. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and for this job, and to be able to continue to inspire other people to go after their dreams," Perry said. "I mean, my life just feels very full and whole. And you know, it's hard a little bit these first couple of days away and not being able to be there."

Perry noted that part of why she can be back on Idol is because her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, is doing everything he can to help out. She told ET that he keeps her up to date with everything that's going on with the new baby, even if it's just a snapshot of him wearing a Baby Björn.

"But Daddy's doing a great job. Daddy has stepped in," Perry added. "I've seen the Bjorn on him, I've seen him with the bottle, I've seen all the pictures. It's all good."

Posted @withregram • @unicef Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy.⠀ ⠀ “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” Katy and Orlando told us.⠀ ⠀ “But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. Since COVID-19 many more newborn lives are at risk because of the increased lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases. As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with struggling parents now more than ever.⠀ ⠀ “As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare. In celebration of the heart we know our daughter already has, we have set up a donation page to celebrate DDB’s arrival. By supporting them, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child. We hope your ♥️ can bloom with generosity.⠀ ⠀ Gratefully-⠀ ⠀ Katy & Orlando.”⠀ ⠀ Please tap the link in our bio to support the most precious gift: a healthy child.

Perry and Orlando haven't shared a photo of Daisy just yet, but Bloom told Ellen DeGeneres that she looks like a mix of him, Perry, and his mother, Sonia.

"My little mini-me, slash mini my mom, slash mini-Katy," he said on her show. "It was funny because when she first came out I was, 'Oh it's me, it's a mini-me!' Then fortunately she got those Katy blues, which was perfect."
