Katy Perry serves holiday style inspo in crochet beach cover-up and belly chain
We love turning to our favourite celebs for style inspo, but Katy Perry's recent 'fits have been far from wearable IRL. The cut-out black leather naked dress that flashed her starfish nipple pasties is best described as not safe for work, and the list of places the mile-long train on Katy's red mini dress would get stuck if we stepped out wearing it is endless. Think lift doors, train doors, revolving doors... It's an accident waiting to happen.
So, the rare occasions that the Hollywood A-lister does actually wear something we can recreate without fear of injury or an email from HR is worth taking note of, IMO. Enter Katy's most recent Instagram post that sees her serving major summer holiday fashion inspo. Donning seriously stylish beach attire, her look also ticks off two big SS24 swimwear trends in the process.

Posing in a brown paisley print bandeau bikini, Katy layered a white crochet beach skirt over the top of her swimwear. Crochet bikinis and crochet tops have already received the celeb seal of approval, but we love Katy's crochet beach cover-up that added a glamorous twist to the boho aesthetic with sequin embellishments and a thigh-high leg slit.
Not content with ticking off one of spring summer fashion trend, Katy also added a belly chain to her holiday look. A popular swimwear adornment Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have also accessorised with this season.
While Katy didn't reveal where the snaps were taken, followers speculated in the comments section she was at the Monumento de Cala Llentia in Ibiza, confirming our theory this ensemble is the perfect summer vacay outfit. BRB, copying this look and booking a getaway asap.
