Kelly Rowland is launching a makeup line designed for ‘chocolate girls’

Another celebrity makeup line is coming!

With Kendall creating lip kits and Jessica Alba delving into hair, it seems like every celebrity is using their famous looks to help them delve into the beauty industry. Next up: former Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Rowland.

In an interview with Essence, Rowland revealed that her line – in partnership with her makeup artist Sheika Daley – will cover a range of products, from lashes to foundation, and will be sure to keep in mind other “chocolate girls,” like herself.

“My makeup artist Sheika Daley and I are actually starting a makeup line we’re making sure we make, well, we’re starting off with lashes and then we’re going to have it grow for all women,” Rowland tells Essence.

“But definitely making sure we have our chocolate girls covered. Gotta get the chocolate girls in there! We have to have that, you know.”

Rowland’s line will be inspired by Iman cosmetics, created by supermodel Iman.

“I think Iman has done a beautiful makeup line and I want to do it too!” Rowland said.

Along with Rowland, Daley works with a number of celebrities, including Nicki Minaj, Zendaya and Brandy, so that should give you a hint of what’s in store.
