Kendall Jenner Went Full Y2K Jennifer Lopez in an Extreme Double-Plunge Dress

Kim Kardashian isn't the only one channeling Y2K icons in Aspen. It seems Kendall Jenner's latest going-out look paid homage to one of the most memorable red-carpet dresses of all time.

On January 20 the 28-year-old model shared multiple OOTD photos and a video from her recent Colorado vacation, featuring what may be the plungiest plunge dress to ever plunge dress—you know, aside from Jennifer Lopez's iconic Versace moment from the 2000 Grammy Awards. Then again, the fashion world's obsession with the early aughts has yet to lose steam, so the reference tracks.

Though Kendall Jenner's dress did not feature sheer fabric or vibrant foliage, her brown halter dress dipped well past her navel, much like the look Lopez wore nearly 24 years ago. To make up for the more simplistic design, however, Jenner's sleeveless look featured a second deep plunge in the back.

Considering Jenner appears to have spurned nipple covers, the braless queen is putting a whole lot of faith in a strip of stretchy fabric (and perhaps a bit of fashion tape). As for glam, Jenner complemented the dress with a latte makeup look and topped off the sultry ensemble with gold earrings.

Out on the slopes, Jenner's sister Kim Kardashian took direct inspiration from Victoria Beckham in the 2004 Chanel leather ski suit that the former Spice Girl was photographed wearing back in 2006. Over on her own Instagram Stories, Kardashian shared a snap of Beckham in the $18,000 ’fit with the caption “My fashion ski muse.”

Which archival Y2K look do you think the Kardashian-Jenners should re-create next? I vote the Björk swan dress.
