Kendra Wilkinson does not consider her new body shape a failure.

On Jan. 21, the former Playboy star posted a black and white closeup selfie on Instagram and expressed her appreciation for those who sent positive messages about her previous post discussing her recent weight gain.

“Embracing life a little differently nowadays,” she began. “I’ve had my fair share of hardships and setbacks these last years but I've learned how to rise above and let life flow. Let go and only invite positive thinking in.”

“A little weight gain and aging isn’t something I call a failure and I do enough every day to keep myself standing upright, healthy, mentally healthy and smiling,” she wrote. “Overcoming challenges just shape us into new people and I’m willing to live and learn and grow through it all while staying focused and motivated.”

“Real estate, motherhood, and Hollywood isn’t easy to juggle but mama’s out here grinding,” she added. “By myself with a few friends who truly have my back and 2 amazing kids.”

Wilkinson’s message of body positivity came just a week after she posted a mirror selfie on Instagram, telling her followers that while she’s gained weight, she’s “happy, healthy and at peace.”

“Yes, I’ve gained weight. Yes, I'm aging. Yes, I’m not that girl I was before (playboy girl) 🤣 but for once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy,” said the reality star, who was just 18 when she first moved into the Playboy Mansion. Her time with late Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and his other girlfriends, Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison, was chronicled on E! reality show, The Girls Next Door, which debuted in 2005.

Wilkinson, now 39, said those who are hating on her new weight should simply leave her alone and respect that she’s “where I actually want to be finally.”

The Kendra Sells Hollywood star — who shares daughter Alijah Mary Baskett, 10, and son Hank Randall Baskett IV, 15, with ex-husband Hank Baskett — also talked about being a mother. “Kids are my everything. Feeling pretty balanced. Working out and cooking a lot more. Golf, work,” she wrote, adding that she’s a hands-on mom: “No housekeeper or nanny.”
