Kim Kardashian Bribed a Pet Store Clerk to Lie to North West About Tarantulas
The reality star has "a pretty awful relationship with spiders."
It turns out that the subject of Kim Kardashian’s greatest fear is North West’s latest fascination.
In a new clip from the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim tells sister Khloé Kardashian about a recent trip she and her 7-year-old took to a pet store.
“She wants to see the tarantulas!” Kim recounts in horror. Never without a plan (and a few Benjamins on hand), the 39-year-old bribed the store clerk. “I go, 'Listen, I'll pay you 100 bucks. Just say they're mean to kids, not good pets, they bite everyone, say whatever you gotta say. I'll pay you.’” But alas, money can’t always buy you a convenient way to lie to your child.
The clerk instead told West that tarantulas make great pets and asked her if she’d like to hold one.
In case you forgot, Kim really, really hates spiders:
“That is absolutely never going to happen,” Kardashian said of her eldest daughter getting an arachnid pet. “As long as she's living under my roof, never going to happen.”

Though Khloé implies that she’s plotting a way for North to be able to share her love of spiders with her mom, Kim has an idea of her own:
“Maybe I'll just … I'll be sitting there and looking at my phone and I'll be like, 'Oh my god did you hear the news? All these kids died at a school from tarantula bites.’"
