Krispy Kreme Is Giving Out Free Doughnuts on Election Day, So Get Psyched to Vote

From Woman's Day

Just when you thought nothing could make Election Day more exciting, national doughnut chain Krispy Kreme is popping in to make the day even sweeter. The shop is handing out free, hot glazed doughnuts on Nov. 3 to "celebrate and share the pride that comes with voting," they said in a statement.

And if a hot-off-the-conveyer-belt, melt-in-your-mouth doughnut isn't enough to excite you — really? — the shops will be handing out free "I Voted" stickers, too. The iconic stickers have been harder for a lot of voters to come by this year, with many people deciding to mail in their ballots as a safe alternative to in-person voting. But fans of the doughnut shop can rest assured that even if they weren't able to get an official sticker from their polling place, Krispy Kreme is coming in clutch to help them celebrate their participation in "doughmocracy."

To keep the event open to all, there's no proof of voting required, and everyone is welcome to join the celebration of Election Day. And just in case you're having a bit of trouble convincing someone to be your voting buddy, feel free to casually pass along this article as a little extra incentive. Because really, what could taste better than democracy with a side of doughnuts?
