Krispy Kreme's Pumpkin Spice Doughnuts and Lattes Are Back — Plus More Fall Treats Are Coming
"Stay tuned though, we’re not done spicing up the season," said a Krispy Kreme executive
Pumpkin spice season has started at Krispy Kreme.
On Monday, Aug. 12, fans can head to the donut chain for a taste of autumn. Krispy Kreme is rolling out two beloved fall items: the pumpkin spice cake doughnut and pumpkin spice latte.
The fan-favorite doughnut is both old-fashioned style and glazed. It is sold individually and in a dozen-pack at bakery locations or in six-packs at select grocery stores nationwide.
No matter how customers like their PSL, Krispy Kreme has them covered. The pumpkin spice lattes are available hot, iced or frozen. All come with whipped cream on top.
Krispy Kreme fans should keep their ears open and save some extra room in their stomachs for more pumpkin goodies.
“It’s August and we’re all ready for pumpkin spice, somehow. So, we’re bringing back the classics you’re craving,” Krispy Kreme's global chief brand officer Dave Skena said in a press release. “Our fans want their Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Latte right now, and we’re here for it. Stay tuned though, we’re not done spicing up the season.”
Dairy Queen is also serving up a frozen pumpkin treat as part of their fall Blizzard lineup. The ice cream chain has seven new and returning Blizzards, available starting on Aug. 26.
The pumpkin pie Blizzard is coming back. It combines real pumpkin pie pieces and soft serve with nutmeg and whipped cream on top.
DQ is also introducing the new caramel java chip Blizzard which is made of coffee, choco-espresso crunch pieces, caramel and soft serve ice cream.
The French silk pie Blizzard, Oreo fudge brownie Blizzard, salted caramel truffle Blizzard, Reese’s Pieces cookie dough Blizzard and royal NY cheesecake Blizzard are also part of Dairy Queen's fall Blizzard menu.
