Kristin Juszczyk Reveals the Meaningful, Championship-Related Gift She's Giving 49ers Husband Kyle (Exclusive)
The WAG and burgeoning fashion designer also shared her favorite Christmas tradition with her husband
Kristin Juszczyk loves holiday traditions, but there's one Christmas activity she's come to cherish the most.
While speaking with PEOPLE about collaborating with Balsam Hill for her Christmas Eve party decorations and hosting family celebrations in New York, the wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk revealed that she and Kyle have a special tree in their California home, filled with sentimental ornaments.
"Anytime we travel somewhere or we have an enjoyable experience together, we always try to get an ornament that kind of encapsulates that moment," Kristin, 30, tells PEOPLE. "One of my favorite traditions every year is just decorating that tree and we go one by one on the ornaments and we just talk about that memory or that trip."
"It's just fun to go down memory lane, and we have so many amazing ornaments already. I'm just so excited to watch it grow," she adds. "It has become one of my favorite Christmas traditions."
This year, the ornament Kristin is gifting Kyle holds extra special meaning.
She got the idea for the ornament after Kyle and the San Francisco 49ers won the 2024 NFC Championship game on Jan. 28 against the Detroit Lions 34-31.
"When we won the NFC championship, I made sure to take some of the confetti on the field," she says. "I bought this glass ornament and I put the confetti in, and I just wrote NFC Championship 2024."
She continues, "I'm excited to give that to him because every year we give each other ornaments too. But that one I knew, at that moment, right when we won and I saw the confetti come down, I'm like, 'Oh, I just want to relive this moment over and over again.' And what better way than to be able to do it on Christmas?"
Along with the sentimental gift, Kristin says Kyle is fun to buy presents for because he has so many hobbies—from gardening to golf.
"He loves being outside and working with his hands," she says. "We always also give each other some type of game. Normally it's like a brain teaser. Kyle loves that kind of stuff. So it's fun on those slow Christmas mornings after we open up the gifts, we always play some type of board game together."
Looking forward to 2025, Kristin also adds, "I make sure to manifest the year ahead and go into the next one with the intentions I want to bring."
"I just want to keep working really hard and continue designing," says Kristin, who famously created custom jackets for the likes of Taylor Swift, Olivia Culpo, and Simone Biles, "I love doing what I do, and Kyle continues to work hard at his craft. We’re both focused on becoming the best versions of ourselves—for our careers and for our family," she continues.
