Kristin Cavallari had a full circle moment at the 2022 MTV Movie Awards.
On Sunday, the 35-year-old took to social media to share a carousel of photos on Instagram before hitting the star-studded red carpet in Santa Monica, Calif. The event was a homecoming of sorts for the mom-of-three, who made her reality TV debut on MTV's "Laguna Beach" in 2004.
"Back to where it all began tonight: MTV," she captioned the post, posing in a $3,761 CAD/ $2,990 USD Saint Laurent cut-out jumpsuit. "I’m presenting at the MTV Movie Awards," she captioned the post.
Fans were thrilled to see the star go back to her MTV roots in her "stunning" red carpet-ready look
"Living for this outfit! You look amazing," one Instagram user commented, while another wrote, "Sandy vibes from 'Grease.'"
"This is giving me high-end Sandy vibes! Love it!" a follower echoed.
"Look at me I'm Sandra D, queen of MTV," one person penned.
"This outfit though," another commenter chimed in.
Cavallari's post comes shortly after the finalization of her divorce from ex-husband Jay Cutler. Although the pair initially announced their separation in April 2020, the former NFL player shared his reaction to learning the divorce was finally over.
“When the settlement came through, I threw a party,” he said on his podcast "Uncut With Jay Cutler," adding, "I don’t recommend divorce for anybody. I’m just gonna go ahead and say that, but, um, it worked out. It worked out for Kristin. It worked out for me, so it is what it is.”
The "Very Cavallari" star fired back at the comment, telling TMZ that she's been "partying for two years straight."
“The thing with Jay is, we aren’t getting our divorce because of love lost, right, which made it really challenging because we were crazy about each other...” she said. "I just decided I didn’t want to be in a toxic relationship anymore and I had to break it off. But that’s made it hard and made me sit here and question it for a few months. But then going back and dating him a little bit made me reaffirm it like, ‘No, I know that I’m doing the right decision.’”
