Kylie Jenner's cropped jacket and mini skirt is how fashion girlies do Chanel
It is a big week in the world of fashion. Jennifer Lopez is currently shutting down red carpet events at the Sundance Film Festival, the biggest names in street style have flocked to Denmark for Copenhagen Fashion Week, and Paris Fashion Week is playing host to the Haute Couture shows with the likes of Pamela Anderson and Tyla sitting front row. And one miss Kylie Jenner, too.
All eyes were on the youngest Kar-Jenner this morning [Tuesday 28 January] as she arrived at the Grand Palais for Chanel's Haute Couture Spring Summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week show. Kylie is a regular at PFW, even taking to the runway for a celebrity cameo for Coperni's SS25 ready-to-wear show at Disneyland Paris last September (Kendall, who?). However, this marks her first appearance at the Haute Couture schedule this year.
Naturally, Kylie didn't disappoint with her 'fit – she was wearing Chanel, ppl! – even if she did turn up solo without her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet on her arm.
Her look in question consisted of a cream cropped tweed jacket paired with a coordinating pleated mini skirt. A multi-strand chain belt was worn low around her hips, strung with pearls and adorned with bow charms and the interlocking C logo. As well as wearing a black chain strap crossbody mini bag across her torso, Kylie carried a black quilted vanity style mini bag in one hand, greenlighting the double bag trend.
A stack of bangles were worn on one wrist with her only other visible jewellery a chain anklet. Black patent sling-back pumps and black cat-eye sunglasses completed the look. The ensemble was oozing with trademark Chanel signatures but on Kylie, the attire felt like a fresh, young take on the famed fashion house.
Yep, this is how fashion girlies do Chanel.
